Within the framework of China-Russia Premiers' Regular Meeting Committee, the 11th session of S&T Subcommittee Meeting was convened in Yekaterinburg of Russia from August 15 to 18 in 2007. Vice Minister SHANG Yong and Sergey Mazurenko, Head of Russia¡¯s Federal Agency for Science and Innovation addressed the meeting.
Both parties introduced the respective S&T developments, reviewed reports by the hi-tech and innovation working group, and selected 29 inter-governmental projects for 2008 to 2010. The discussion focused on the prospect of regional S&T cooperation, joint implementation of priority projects, and S&T initiatives in the China-Russia Year. Consensuses were reached on a broad range of issues.
