The 11th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China was inaugurated in grandeur on September 8 2007 at the International Conference and Exhibition Centre of Xiamen.

Vice-Minister SHANG Yong was present at the opening ceremony upon invitation. As a member since CIFIT ’98, the MOST has always attached importance to CIFIT as a platform for scientific and technological cooperation and exchange with Taiwan, and has provided support thereto over the past ten years. MOST has laid out special exhibitions on science and technology on the past six fairs.
