The expert panel for the major project of solid state lightning (SSL) under the 863 Program met in Nanjing. Eleven panel members, five consultants, and officials from the Department of High-tech and Project Management Office participated in the meeting. They went through regulations of the 863 Program and highlighted the administrative code of the major SSL project. The New Materials Management Office under the 863 Program issued letters of appointment to members of the expert panel.
