The Executive Office of MOST hosted a meeting of the contact personnel for soft science from November 6 to 7, 2006 in Zhejiang Province. The attendants explored ways on how to enable contact persons to play a better role, to improve the journal Soft Science, and coordinate different sectors and local governments’ effort in research and management of soft science.

In the future, Soft Science will intensify its effort in publicizing the research and management of soft science. The representatives from various sectors and localities put forward suggestions on how to better run the journal and promote exchanges and coordination among sectors and localities on this issue.
