The nanomaterial R&D project, part of the national Key Technology R&D Program in the 10^th Five-Year Period passed the acceptance check. The project consisted of 44 topics and was implemented within two phases.

The project achieved prominent results. By August 2006, 172 patents were granted, among which were 7 foreign invention patents and 153 domestic ones. Seven national standards were established and 426 research reports published, including 136 papers published both in and outside China.
