With the arduous efforts of scientists and researchers, China has made headways in the processing, storage and preserving of agricultural products and modern logistics, which provide strong technical support for extending agro-industrial production line and increasing efficiency of agriculture and farmers’ income.

China’s agro-tech researchers took agricultural processing as the breakpoint. They researched into the key common technologies for deep processing of agricultural produce such as grain and oil, fruit and vegetables, animal products, forestry products and specialties; the quality control and storage of agricultural products and the modern logistics. They have achieved major breakthrough, developed a series of technology packages and built 120 demonstration production lines.
