On behalf of Ministry of Science and Technology, Vice Minister CAO Jianlin attended and made comments on the International Symposium for the Amendment of Energy Conservation Law of China. The symposium was co-held by Finance and Economy Committee of National People’s Congress and Office of UNDP in China. Officials from UNDP and representatives from relevant sectors and companies of Japan, Germany, France, USA also attended the symposium.

Since March of this year, Finance and Economy Committee has started the amendment to current Energy Conservation Law. Based on this symposium, the Committee will draft out the amended Energy Conservation Law as soon as possible.
