Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Center of MOST convened a working meeting recently on China Offshore Software Engineering Project (COSEP). The theme of the meeting is that to innovate the service of COSEP and enhance China’s capability of exporting domestic software. It was the biggest gathering in software outsourcing sector ever since the launch of pilot COSEP, with participants from internationally famous consultancy companies for business process outsourcing (BPO), renowned multinationals, investing organizations, top domestic training centers for software talents, and some quality management organizations.

Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Center introduced the focus of COSEP in 2007. Representatives from pilot bases, enterprises, and consultancy companies of COSEP, as well as from some foreign organizations then made thematic speeches on global market exploitation, merger and acquisition, vision of global software outsourcing, American and European marketing strategies and developing an internationally marketing environment.
