With the opening date (October 2007) of the 14^th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems approaching, various jobs of the organizing committee have entered the stage of concrete implementation and the specific tasks are being gradually broken down in detail.

As of 10 February 2007, 74% of the total exhibition area (4,495m²⁾ had been sold. During the congress, approximately 150 conferences of various types will be held, about 80 of them being academic conferences.

The basic procedure and preliminary program for the large-scale activities like the opening and closing ceremonies as well as VIP banquet have already been ascertained and publicity is underway.
