MOST sponsored a symposium in Shanghai on developing bio-information data sharing platform with an eye to exploring the significance, objectives, development and sharing mechanism of such platform.

The participants agreed that the development of and accessibility to the state-level bio-information data bank should be approached from a national strategic perspective, domestic experts in the field of great influence be invited to join in the consultation of its development, a development and data sharing blueprint of such platform be put forward as early as possible.
