Vice Minister WU Zhongze delivered a thematic speech entitled Take the Path of Indigenous Innovation with Chinese Characteristics and Build an Innovative China at the Working Conference on Science and Technology of Jiangxi Province lasting from March 19 to 20.
In the speech, WU reviewed all localities and departments¡¯ endeavor in improving innovative capabilities in accordance with the spirit of the National Science and Technology Conference since it was held earlier last year.
He elaborated on the trend of science and technology development and China¡¯s strategic choice, guiding principle and development mentality, the objective and priorities, major policies and measures, with emphasis given on the profound implication of indigenous innovation and the necessity to turning China into an innovative state.
