The Department of Facilities and Financial Support of MOST organized a survey team to go to Chengdu and XiĄŻan to conduct survey of funds management by research institutes. The purpose of this survey is to get a deeper understanding of the implementation of reform of research fund management in the Eleventh Five Year and publicize and interpret the new research fund management system.
From the survey, it can be seen that each locality and organization has worked out and revised relevant methods in the light of their reality and improved research fund management. Some organizations say that they still donĄŻt quite understand the new system and need to have a more accurate understanding of the connotations of specific clauses, suggesting that training of various forms be organized to facilitate the understanding and mastery of the new management system and spirit.
