In 2004, MOST set up the Mine Airspeed Measuring Instrument Detection System Upgrading Project. Through research and development in the last two years, an auto detection system has come into being. This system has realized real time monitoring and control. The measurement accuracy has been increased by 2.5 times and work efficiency is 4.5 times better than in the past. Performance of this system can compare to that in such advanced countries as UK, US and Russia.
