The Steering Committee of China-Italy SIF Fund for Energy and Environment met in Beijing on 12 April. SHANG Yong, Vice Minister of Science and Technology and Corrado Clini, Director General of Department for Global Environment International and Regional Convention, Ministry for Environment and Territory, Italy jointly presided over the conference. Mr. Riccardo Sessa, Italian Ambassador to China was present at the conference. The two sides talked about cooperation in renewable energy and reduction of CO₂ emission and reached consensus on carrying out and strengthening substantial cooperation projects.
