Recently, a German MAGLEV delegation of 12 led by Mr. Niels Hartwig, head of the MAGLEV project of the Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Housing of Germany visited MOST. The delegation consisted of Mr. Michael Rebentisch, project manager MAGLEV, Federal Railway Authority and representatives from German Maglev Transrapid Hybrid Guideway Consortium, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp AG and TRI (Transrapid International).
The twos sides held a panel discussion, at which Mr. Hartwig talked about the latest development of the Munich Transrapid MAGLEV Line and the R&D of TR09 MAGLEV train. The two sides exchanged opinions on the next-step cooperation plan and hoped to facilitate the development and application of transrapid MAGLEV transport technology through close mutual cooperation.
