The 4th China-ASEAN Expo saw a great success of applicable agricultural technology and transformation of agricultural technology in Nanning on Oct. 28-31, 2007. It was cosponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The exhibition gave showcase to technologies applicable to agriculture, such as plantation & animal husbandry, agricultural produce intensive processing, modern agricultural equipment, biotechnologies, and energy-saving & emissions reduction.

On the sideline of the event, a conference on agricultural technology exchanges was held, finalizing contracts of 30 million dollars. A number of projects were welcomed by ASEAN representatives, such as “Denaturalized Plastic Home-use Biogas-Manufacturing Container”, “Environment-friendly Urea and Compound Fertilizer” and “Multi-function Hillside Tractor”.
