On July 14, China-EU Project of “Capacity Building in Clean Production of the 11 Western Provinces” opened its curtain in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

This project, under the framework of EU “Asia-Invest Program”, aims to provide technical assistance to the clean production capacity building of intermediary agencies and small- and medium-sized enterprises in China’s underdeveloped west. It is jointly organized by Austria’s Center of Environmental Training and International Consulting, Clean Technology Center of Ireland’s Cork Institute of Technology and the Administrative Center of China’s Agenda 21, and will cover a period of 3 years from March 2008 to February 2011.
